I have a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Colorado. As an Instructional Design professional, I have accumulated over 18 years of experience in both the Healthcare and Financial Service Industries developing effective e-Learning courses for adult learners. I have found my Graphic Design background to be a tremendous asset and complementary skill to the Adult Learning and Computer Based Training Industry.
I am passionate about learning, design, travel, art, and collaborating with people. I enjoy being an Instructional Designer because it allows me to help people learn and grow in their careers at the same time developing and growing my own creative skills. I love to learn new things and I thrive when working with Subject Matter Experts on technical and interesting topics.
I am versed in developing content for various environments such as face-to-face, virtual, online, and blended learning. My specialty is e-Learning which enables me to tap into my artistic skills by incorporating animation, simulation, video/audio, and interactive Captivate movies. I stay engaged with the ever-changing adult learning technologies and trends.
